Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is an important part of our provided services. We provide support and guidance to our clients through all stages of an EIA, in an environmentally sustainable way, from screening to public consultation and presentation to the Competent Authority, according to the requirements of the EIA Directives and International Standard Guidelines. We have successfully undertaken EIAs for a diverse range of projects, such as complex residential and touristic developments, golf courses, marine infrastructure, renewable energy developments, wastewater treatment plants, power stations, industrial units, dams, solid waste recycling areas, farms etc.

We also specialize in the elaboration of Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) studies both in Cyprus and abroad. The goal of a SEA study is to integrate all the environmental aspects into the preparation of Plans and Programmes and prior to their final implementation, according to the requirements of the SEA Directive (2001/42/EC) and the relevant national legislation.

Appropriate Assessments (AA) of the potential adverse effects of a plan or project on Special Areas of Conservation and Special Protection Areas (Natura 2000 network), is also our expertise. The AA study is streamlined with the EIA/SEA processes, and it is implemented using the latest methodological EU guidances on the provisions of Article 6(3) and (4) of the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC.
