Marios has been working at I.A.CO since 2009, and he currently holds the position of the Water Unit Manager. Throughout  his professional career, he has been active in mainly (but not only) the preparation of hydrological and hydraulic studies, in flood risk analysis and flood hazard protection and anti-flood protection works designs.

He carries extensive experience and expertise in groundwater management as well, such as in setting up protection zones for domestic water supply sources, in the design of groundwater dewatering systems for various developments either during construction or during operation, in drafting, executing and analysing results of quantitative and qualitative monitoring, etc.

He is an expert in Geographical Information Systems (ArcGIS), in conjunction with the application of different hydrological, hydraulic and hydrogeological modelling  tools (ArcHydro, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, MODFLOW, etc), allowing him to be able to coordinate and conduct projects at the outmost professional and engineering sound level in his corresponding fields of expertise. He is a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber and member of the Cyprus Association of Geologists and Mining Engineers.
