The Department of the Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment of Cyprus has officially launched the public consultation on the revised National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy. The consultation was kicked off on February 18, 2025, in Nicosia, with opening remarks by Dr. Theodoulos Mesimeris, Director of the Department of Environment, and Christoph Klockenbring from SG Reform of the European Commission, which has funded the revision project through the Technical Support Instrument.
The revised strategy was presented by a team of consultants providing technical support, including our colleagues Thomas Dworak and Nuria Hernandez-Mora, PhD from Fresh Thoughts Consulting GmbH, as well as our partners alpS GmbH, Trinomics, AARC Ltd and our Director Ayis Iacovides and colleague Angela Nicolaou.
