Within the framework of the Digiwater Project, I.A.CO, along with its partners, participated in the First Innovation Camp of the Project, that was held in Leuven, Belgium, during 4th – 7th of October. The Camp was successfully organized by our Belgian partners, SumAqua.
Students from our six partner universities (Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Technical University of Applied Sciences Ostwestfalen-Lippe, Istabul Technical University, University of Cyprus, University of Leuven and University of Galati), along with project partner’s staff members, participated in the Innovation Camp, which its main objective is to strengthen the innovation capacity of the water industry and to improve social engagement of universities educating water specialists. The Camp was focused on IoT & Big Data, and included lectures, workshops, brainstorming sessions and pitches.
The students with the valuable guidance of the staff members, developed innovative ideas in regards to water industry by incorporating IoT & Big Data. The students presented their ideas, which were evaluated by the staff members during the last day of the Camp.
This Camp will be followed by the Second Innovation Camp which will be held in Istanbul, on March 2023, and the main focus of the Camp will be the Cybersecurity.
