I.A.CO has signed a Contract with Paphos Sewerage Board for the conduction of a hydrological and hydraulic study for the stormwater management of the eastern area of the Municipality of Paphos.
The study will cover an area of ~4,0km2 and concerns the conduction of a hydrological and hydraulic analysis, for the design of an integrated stormwater drainage system, emphasizing on serving the main road network of the study area. The hydraulic modeling will be conducted using the EPA’s Storm Water Management Model (SWMM), which is a dynamic rainfall–runoff model used for single event or long-term simulations of water runoff quantity and quality in primarily urban areas. The study will take into consideration the existing infrastructure, for which a topographical survey for determining its technical characteristics, will be conducted.
Moreover, the study will also include an estimation of the cost of the proposed hydraulic works as well as for the improvement of the existing infrastructure. Recommendations regarding the construction phasing of the proposed works will be also included in the study.
