Our Hydro team, is involved in the implementation and design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) at Iroon Square in Limassol, within the context of the wider urban planning of the area. The streets around the Square will pedestrianise, the existing trees will be maintained while the green spaces will be expanded in the area of the urban planning.
The SuDS design aims to the reuse of the stormwater that is generated in the Square area, by collecting and routing the stormwater through channels to an underground storage tank. This tank will be equipped with an appropriate pump, as well as with an overflow to the road at the downstream.
