Our water resources specialists attended a 3-day training program titled “Managing Critical Water Infrastructure in the digital era” organized by ATI seminar &HR solutions in Nicosia.
The aim of the training program was to understand the hydraulic principles of the domestic water supply networks, to learn the importance of the digitalization of such networks as well as the various techniques for their simulation, and to provide the basic knowledge and familiarity with software used for modeling domestic water supply networks.
The training program included the management and analysis of data relevant to an existing domestic water supply network, its calibration and validation procedure, as well as the spatial optimization techniques for the various elements of a network.
The training program was followed by an intra-corporate workshop, in which the knowledge gained from the program was discussed, various inquiries were clarified, and guidance was given for adjusting the outcome of the program to our needs.
