Within the framework of the Digiwater Project, I.A.CO, along with its partners, participated in the Second Innovation Camp of the Project, that was held in Istanbul during 15th – 17th of March. The Camp was successfully organized and hosted by our Turkish partners, İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi – MEMTEK Research Center and MEMSİS Çevre Teknolojileri Araştırma Geliştirme A.Ş.
Students from our six partner universities (Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Technical University of Applied Sciences Ostwestfalen-Lippe, Istanbul Technical University, University of Cyprus, University of Leuven and University of Galati), along with project partner’s staff members, participated in the Innovation Camp, which its main objective was to strengthen the innovation capacity of the water industry and to improve social engagement of universities educating water specialists. The focus of the Camp was on Cybersecurity and on the management of natural and man-made disasters within the context of the water industry.
The students with the valuable guidance of the staff members, developed innovative ideas in regards to water industry by incorporating Cybersecurity. The students presented their ideas, which were evaluated by the staff members during the last day of the Camp.
